This is a 3-hour class to find out what it’s like to use an overlock machine, known also as a serger, how it’s different from a sewing machine, and how to operate it for basic overlock tasks.

Learn to thread up and adjust the settings on a basic style serger (no cover stitch or chain stitch settings are included in this class).
Practice basic serger stitches and precision skills
Make a small craft project

This class is for anyone who does not have a serger, but would like to learn how it works before getting one. All supplies and use of our studio machines are included in the class fee.

You may register by online as well as in person at the studio. We accept Cash, Check, Visa, Mastercard & Discover A student is only considered registered once full payment has been received and processed. Fees include the times of class, tutoring times, workshops, make & take nights are scheduled as well as the supplies included with the classes and are non-refundable with the exception of insufficient class enrollment in which case a full refund will be given to the student. Should a student miss a class a makeup appointment can be arranged with the instructor subject to hourly rates. Any special instructions and/or supply lists beyond the basic sewing box tools will be sent upon paid registration.
