Sewing and Fitting Mentor

The Soft-Snug Fleece Headband is a super easy sewing project, consisting of 2 pieces of fleece, construction is sewing both straight & curved seams using ¼’ seam allowances. Create this warm, super soft headband for yourself or to give as a gift for fall and wintertime activities.

What to bring to class (please label with your name):

(NOTE-Students are welcome to bring your own sewing machine or one can be provided for you. Project kits of fabric will be available for purchase. However, if you should prefer to choose your own fabric yardage requirement are included below)

• sharp scissors

• seam ripper

•  flexible tape measure

• 1 – 1/2 yard of fleece fabric (or a 1/4 yd – fleece for the outer fabric of the headband and a 2nd – 1/4 yd of fleece fabric for contrasting lining )

• spool of matching thread
